About MathsMind AI
MathsMind AI is an AI-powered assistant for secondary school mathematics, covering Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (Years 7 to 13). It exists to give maths teachers their evenings back. Instead of spending hours marking a class set of books, teachers photograph or scan their pupils' handwritten work and upload it to the app. The AI reads the work, marks each answer, identifies the specific mathematical misconceptions behind pupils' errors, and produces a full class report in minutes.
Every report includes a class overview showing which pupils are secure, developing or in need of support, the most common strengths and misconceptions across the class, recommended reteaching points, suggested intervention activities, and constructive, encouraging feedback written for each individual pupil. Teachers can then generate differentiated practice questions — foundation, core or challenge tier, with full worked solutions — targeted directly at the gaps the analysis found, edit them freely, and save them to a reusable question bank. Reports can be downloaded as PDF documents for department meetings, parents' evenings or pupil records.
MathsMind AI is built for classroom teachers, heads of maths departments, and school administrators. Teachers get the marking and planning assistant; pupils get a friendly portal where they can see their feedback and track their mastery over time; and admins get oversight of classes, pupil profile approvals and usage across the school.
The app is designed and maintained by a small team of educators and engineers who believe teacher time is the most valuable resource in any school — and that thoughtful AI should protect it, not replace the teacher's professional judgement. Every AI output in MathsMind is editable and comes with an honest confidence note.
